Wind
Upland wind generation
Well-sited turbines on open ground make the most of a strong, steady wind resource — developed with care for landscape and neighbours.
Our work
Conerick Power develops and operates a range of renewable generation assets across rural Co. Fermanagh. Below is an overview of the kinds of projects we work on and the way we approach them — each one shaped by its site and its community.
Project types
We focus on renewable technologies that suit the open, working countryside of the region — developed responsibly and operated for the long term.
Wind
Well-sited turbines on open ground make the most of a strong, steady wind resource — developed with care for landscape and neighbours.
Solar
Rows of panels quietly capture daylight across suitable land, complementing wind generation through the brighter parts of the year.
On-farm
Clean generation developed in partnership with landowners, sitting alongside working farmland to add value without taking it out of use.
Solar
Managed grassland between and beneath panels lets solar generation and light grazing share the same ground.
Grid
The technical link that carries clean power from a rural site into the wider electricity network, reliably and compliantly.
Wind
We continue to look at further sites across the region, assessing where responsible new generation could sit well in the years ahead.
Project descriptions are indicative of the types of renewable generation we develop and operate. Site specifics are discussed directly with landowners and partners.

How we develop
We don’t chase projects for their own sake. A site earns its place in our portfolio only if the resource is genuinely there, the connection makes sense, and the scheme sits comfortably in its landscape and community.
Got a site in mind?
We’d be glad to take a first look and talk honestly about whether it could work.
