Sustainability

Clean energy that gives back to the countryside.

Renewable generation is more than electricity. Done well, it lowers carbon, protects the landscape and brings lasting investment to rural communities. That wider benefit is the whole point of what we do.

Our impact

Three ways clean generation makes a difference

Lower carbon

Every unit of renewable electricity we generate displaces power that would otherwise come from burning fossil fuels — helping the region cut its carbon over the long term.

Healthier countryside

Our sites are chosen and designed to sit gently in the landscape, keeping land in productive use and protecting the character of the rural places we work in.

Rural regeneration

Clean generation brings investment, land income and local activity to the countryside — supporting the long-term vitality of rural Fermanagh.

Environment

Generating power without the emissions.

The wind that crosses Fermanagh’s hills and the daylight that falls on its fields are clean, renewable and free. By turning those resources into electricity, we produce power without the carbon and air pollution of fossil generation — and we design our sites to work with nature, not against it.

Renewable generation and a living landscape can coexist. Grassland can be managed around solar arrays, land beneath and between turbines can stay in use, and careful siting protects the qualities that make the countryside worth living in.

  • Zero-fuel, low-carbon outputNo fuel burned to generate — clean power from natural resources.
  • Land that keeps workingGeneration designed to sit alongside farming and grazing.
  • Responsible end of lifeWe plan for how each site is looked after and, eventually, restored.

Community

Keeping the benefit local.

We are part of the community we generate in. Because we are independent and locally rooted, the value our projects create — land income, work for local contractors, and steady long-term investment — tends to stay in the region rather than leaving it.

We believe good renewable projects should be good neighbours. That means honest conversations before we build, care while we operate, and a genuine, lasting relationship with the people who live alongside our sites.

“A wind turbine or a solar array should leave the community around it better off — that’s the standard we hold ourselves to.”

Our commitments

How we try to do it right

These are the practical commitments that sit behind our approach to sustainable, responsible generation.

Clean generation, always the goal

Environmental benefit is our reason for being — not an afterthought bolted on to something else.

Respect for the landscape

Careful siting and design so our projects sit well in the countryside they belong to.

Local investment

Keeping income, work and opportunity within the communities we operate in.

Long-term stewardship

Owning and caring for our assets across their whole life, and planning responsibly for the end of it.
